Maggie and Rory will be back together due to the winter breeding not taking late 2024. This litter should be everything we hope for as a breeder. Athletic, smart, trainable, great drive, and great off-switch as family members. These pups should be show stoppers. Potential for one of their offspring to join our program late 2026! Pairing Maggie with Rory will build on her speed and quickness, desire in the field and that tractability that is so strong with Rory. Puppies will be both AKC and UKC registered.

HR Hielan’s Bantom Blushing Lass JH (Maggie)
Description:
HR Hielan’s Bantom Blushing Lass JH – “Maggie” is an AKC and UKC registered, field-bred Golden Retriever with outstanding genetics. She stands 21 inches tall, weighs 52 pounds, and is a fast, athletic, powerful, watery retriever with a high drive to work. Maggie excels in the field, demonstrating a strong passion for hunting and retrieving, and her intelligence and eagerness to learn make her an excellent upland bird hunter, utilizing her keen instincts and strong work ethic. Her love for water hunting is a significant advantage in waterfowl hunting. Maggie earned her AKC Junior Hunter (JH) title at 22 months and her UKC Hunting Retriever (HR) title at 2.5 years. She is currently competing for an HRCH (HRC Finished Hunting Retriever) and a Senior Hunter (AKC SH) title in the Spring and Fall of 2025. Aside from her hunting talents, she has a sweet disposition, loves people, and has an excellent off switch. Maggie is house-trained, crate-trained, and a wonderful family dog.
HRCH Resolute Red King of Texas (Rory)
Description:
Rory is the embodiment of what you hope for in a field golden retriever. He exhibits the build, color and beauty that always turns heads and brings comments. He is a very dark golden and some would say “red dog”. His field coat is smooth and flat virtually repelling burrs of all shapes and sizes making cleanup after any field work a breeze. He stands 24” at the withers providing excellent visibility in all afield situations, broad in the head and a very athletic body. Some of his best traits are not visible. He is very tractable – he is easy to train and gets new concepts easily. He breezed through finished training and gained his Hunting Retriever Championship title at age 2 passing every test entered. He is 100% amateur trained and handled. He is fast when sent yet very steady at the line and in the blind. He has no problem sitting quietly for hours, honoring other working dogs patiently and quietly waiting for his turn to retrieve. When it is his time, it is over quick and he is back patiently waiting for that next opportunity.
